La conjunción because se emplea como en español "porque"
NOTA: No se debe confundir BECAUSE (porque) con WHY (¿por qué?)
ejemplo:
Why did we stay at home? -> ¿Por qué nos quedamos en casa?
Because it was raining. -> Porque estaba lloviendo
